Glass
- We offer three glass finishes on table tops for our glass office furniture: Clear, Frosted, and "Scratched" glass. A patterned option with a clear border is available for Frosted and "Scratched" glass. Click here for a detailed photo of our patterned scratched glass. Our unique "Scratched" Glass is a sparkling Blue-Gray in color and involves a cross-hatched texture that is hand scratched into the under surface of the glass. It is striking and helps to mask scratches on the surface of the glass office furniture.
Care
- Scratched Glass is treated with an acrylic sealer during and after the Scratch process; due to the porous nature of the surface however, care should be taken when handling or cleaning the glass table top.
When necessary, wash Scratched Glass surface gently with Windex and a paper towel to remove finger prints and dirt. A solvent or degreasing kitchen cleanser should not be used on glass table top, as they can cut through the sealer and remove pigment. Also, aggressive rubbing or scrubbing can remove tiny particles of glass and pigment from the textured surface.
A difficult smudge or tape residue can be removed from the glass table top by picking out the dirt from the pores with the tip of an exacto knife. Remove debris from the glass with attention to the existing scratch pattern as you will be adding new, tiny scratches to the glass table top.
