Credenzas date back to the 14th century in Italy and were originally used to prepare and serve food. Crafted from high quality wood, these pieces of furniture would sometimes feature marble or veneer tops and were designed to provide storage space. Today, credenzas are still often used as storage space, but they’re designed a little differently.
